1000 £ Bend Karma Pounder

We've partnered with 1000 £ Bend to spread good karma around Melbourne.

This bad boy burger, the Karma Pounder, is available at 1000 £ Bend from November 15th, donating $1 to the Karma Cola Foundation supporting cola farmers in Sierra Leone.

The Karma Cola Foundation manages a fund to develop resources and sustainable economic independence for cola farmers and their families. So far USD 60,000 generated by the sale of Karma Cola has been given to the communities we support.

We call it Thirst Aid.

And now Thirst Aid is Burger Aid for November as $1 from the sale of every Karma Pounder and cola will go into the Foundation.

The recipe for the Karma Pounder originally came from Honest Burgers in London. Made with Karma Cola braised beef, smoked cheddar, beef pattie, green chilli coleslaw and pickles in a bun its the perfect burger mix of soft, sweet, crunchy, pickled and sour.

“After working with the team at Karma Cola for the past few years we saw this as a great advancement of our relationship and combining our industries with the upside of doing something worthwhile,” says Jerome Borazio, Founder of 1000 £ Bend. "There's a lot of flavour happening - and what better classic combination to take a creative twist on."

Available from November 15th to December 15th, 1000 £ Bend, 361 Little Lonsdale St, Melbourne
